What are missions and how do I complete one?

A **mission** is a short civic adventure — usually 3 to 5 steps — that walks you through a real Houston data question. Some are "scout" missions (explore a dataset, share what you found). Others are "doer" missions (confirm a red flag, submit a civic opportunity, get a friend to play). Open the Missions page, pick one that interests you, and the dashboard tracks your progress as you complete each step. Missions award XP and badges on completion.
